Chairman of the BPF Party Alaksej Janukevich

Born June 30, 1978 in Minsk. Graduated from Belarusian State Economic University  (1997), specialization – management of  foreign economic activity. Studied on postgraduate course at BSEU (2003-2004).
Worked as a teacher of economics at Yakub Kolas National State Humanitarian Lyceum (2002-2003), as a Deputy General Director at the joint venture “Arkadzia” (2004-2005).

Member of the BPF Party since 1996, member of the BPF Party Sejm since 1999, Deputy Chairman of the BPF Party (2003-2009). Delegate at the Young Front’s setting Sejm (1997), member of the central Rada (1997-2000), Deputy Chairman (1999-2000).
Elected the Chairman of the BPF Party in 2009. Headed the election headquarters of the candidate from the BPF Party Ryhor Kastusyow during presidential election 2010.
Reelected the Chairman of the BPF Party in 2011.

Ran for deputy at the elections to local Councils in 2003 and 2007, to the Chamber of Representatives of the National Gathering of the Republic of Belarus in 2004 and 2008. Authorized representative of the single candidate from the UDF during presidential election 2006.

Deputy Chairman of the BPF Party Ryhor Kastusyow

Born April 17, 1957 in village Tsiahtsin (Mogilev region). Graduated from Belarusian Agricultural Academy (1982), speciality – mechanical engineer.

Served in the Soviet Army (1975-1977).
Worked as a leading engineer at the state farm “Druts” Mogilev region (1983-1988), as a director of the state farm “Iskra” Mogilev region (1988-1991), as a director of Shklov association of housing and communal services (1995-2001).
Director of the Belarusian-Ukrainian joint venture “Hydropower – Belaya Rus’” in Mogilev (2002-2004).

Elected deputy to local Councils three times. Authorized representative of the single candidate from the UDF during presidential election 2006.

Deputy Chairman of the BPF Party since 2009.
Nominated a candidate for the post of the President of the Republic of Belarus from the BPF Party by the decision of the BPF Party Congress 2010.
Orthodox Christian. Belarusian. Married, 3 children.


Deputy Chairwoman of the BPF Party Volha Lahvinovich

Born August 24, 1978, lives in Maladzechna.

Graduated from psychology department of Maxim Tank Belarusian State Pedagogical University. Got graduate education in High School of Public Administration in Bialystok (Poland) in the field of territorial self-government.

Worked as a psychologist in school in Maladzechna, coordinator of school contests “What do I know about Europe?”, journalist, editor of regional web-site and newsletter “For Maladzechna”.
Stood as a candidate at the elections to the House of Representatives and local councils.

Member of the BPF Party since 2002.
Belarusian. Roman catholic. Married, 2 children.

 

 


Deputy Chairman of the BPF Party Ihar Lalkou

Born April 15, 1971 in Minsk. Graduated from the Faculty of History at Belarusian State University (1997), Sorbonne University (Paris, France; 1998) and MA course of the Center for East European Studies at University of Warsaw (Poland; 2003).

Worked at the National Archive of the Republic of Belarus, at the State Committee on Archives and Bookkeeping of the Republic of Belarus, at Belarusian Research Center for Electronic Documentation (1997-2001). Lectured at Belarusian Collegium, University of Warsaw (Poland), Charles University (Prague, Czech Republic), Bialystok School of Public Administration (Poland) during 2002-2007. Since 2008 acting Chairman and later Chairman of the Minsk Regional Rada of the Belarusian Voluntary Society for Protection of Monuments of History and Culture.

Member of the BPF Party Sejm, head of the International Committee of the BPF Party Sejm (2003-2007 and 2011). Deputy Chairman of the BPF Party since 2009.
Ran for deputy at the election to local Councils in 2010. Authorized representative of the single candidate from the UDF during presidential election 2006 and of the candidate from the BPF Party during presidential election 2010.

Author and editor of 5 books and about 70 articles, devoted to history of Belarus, international relations of our country, history and the present of European integration, place of Belarus in Europe. Papers were published in 8 languages in 10 countries around the world.

Deputy Chairman of the BPF Party Aliaksandr Stralcou

Born December 27, 1970 in Minsk. Graduated from Belarusian State Polytechnic Academy (1993) and postgraduate course at Research Institute for Economics under the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Belarus on the section “Regional Economy” (1996-1999).
Works as a lecturer at the Center for Business Education at European Humanitarian University (Vilnius).

Member of the BPF “Revival” – the BPF Party since 1990, with a break in 1999-2003 in protest against the split of the organization. Deputy Chairman of the BPF Youth Fraction in1994-1996. Member of the BPF Party Sejm. Deputy Chairman of the International Committee (2003-2007), Chairman of the Committee for Party Education of the BPF Party (2009-2011).

Roman catholic. Married, 4 children.
